What is the CompTIA A+ certification?
CompTIA A+ is a globally recognized certification that validates the skills of IT support and mobile technicians across a wide range of technologies, including security, cloud and data management.
To earn it, you must pass two exams from the same version: Core 1 (220-1201) and Core 2 (220-1202), part of the current V15 version launched in March 2025. Core 1 covers mobile devices, networking, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing, and hardware and network troubleshooting. Core 2 covers operating systems, security, software troubleshooting and operational procedures, including basic AI concepts. CertOcean's course has 40 hours of live classes covering both exams.
