FAQ

CISSP Certification course FAQs

Can't find your answer? A course advisor can help with the syllabus, batch dates and exam questions.

How much does the CISSP exam cost?

The standard CISSP exam fee is US$749 in the Americas, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, and prices differ in other regions. You pay the fee to ISC2 when you register for the exam, and it is not included in the course fee. Check the ISC2 exam pricing page for the latest fee before you book.

What are the CISSP eligibility requirements?

To earn the CISSP, you need at least five years of cumulative, paid, full-time work experience in two or more of the eight CISSP domains. A four-year college degree or an approved credential can waive one year of that experience.

If you do not have the experience yet, you can still take the exam. When you pass, you become an Associate of ISC2 and have up to six years to gain the experience and get endorsed as a CISSP.

How long is the CISSP certification valid?

The CISSP certification is valid for three years. To renew it, you earn 120 continuing professional education (CPE) credits during each three-year cycle and pay ISC2's annual maintenance fee.

Is the CISSP exam fee included in the course fee?

No. The CISSP exam fee is not included in the standard course fee, and you pay it to ISC2 when you register for the exam. If you would rather buy the exam voucher with your training, ask our advisors and they can add it to your package.

Will I get a certificate after the CISSP Certification training?

Yes. You receive a CertOcean certificate of completion when you finish the training. The official ISC2 certification is awarded by ISC2 when you pass the exam, and this course prepares you for it.

What if I don't pass the CISSP Certification exam?

Your enrollment is covered by CertOcean's pass or full refund guarantee. If you don't clear the exam, you can claim a full refund under the guarantee terms.
